Since every job is unique, job quotes are given on a project-by-project basis. I charge by the job and not by the hour, since I’d probably spend a lot of time just tracking my time! Also, I think people feel more comfortable knowing how much the job is going to cost before they commit to paying for it, instead of running the risk of someone dragging their feet just to pump up their billable hours. I know I feel that way about it!

What I can say for sure is that my rates are very reasonable, and that I’m fair in my dealings with my customers. You can ask anyone I’ve worked for in the past 20 years, and I’m confident they’ll say the same thing.
